Once upon a time, there was a little boy, Gus, who wanted to become a great knight. Sorry, not a great knight… The Greatest knight in the whole kingdom of Karamel. Wielding with his laser sword, mounted on his electric pony, Gus never misses an opportunity to go on an adventure to accomplish all his missions.

The problem is, Gus is… ITSY BITSY! He stands three apples high, to be precise, but has a heart the size of a house! Gus will prove to one and all that a brave heart can overcome everything, and that there’s no greater cavalier than Gus, the itsy bitsy knight!

Upbeat, funny, modern, vibrant and heartwarming, Gus, the itsy bitsy knight dusts the cobwebs off the fairytale genre! The anachronisms and clash of codes between today’s world and the Medieval setting are the very DNA of the show and they will imbue the stories (ALT) episodes with a lot of freshness and humor while the fantastic, wacky world of the Karamel Kingdom and the heroes’ crazy ideas will give free reign to all manner of visual gags. But Gus, the itsy-bitsy knight is also an adventure show! The heroic quests embarked upon by our tender-hearted little friend will be packed with action and twists galore.

Characters

Gus

Seven-year-old Gus dreams of one day being the greatest knight in the whole of the kingdom of Karamel. There’s just one chink in the armor: he’s tiny!

Gus is convinced that with determination, perseverance, and will – and with his trusty laser sword, electric pony, and flying shield all at the ready – nothing can stand between him and his dreams! He is determined to prove to the world that he is the very embodiment of bravery, goodness and justice!

The most important person in Gus’s life is his older sister, Iris, and when he’s not out on some adventure, Gus hangs out with his best friend, Tyler, at the ElectroStable (his “HQ”).

Iris

Iris is Gus’s beloved big sister. She’s hip, sporty and one of the popular kids. A new-generation princess. Iris loves magic and intends to follow in the footsteps of her veteran magician grandpa, Merlin. She can’t wait to inherit his mega powerful magic wand! The only problem is, she’s not exactly an expert when it comes to casting spells!

Iris often accompanies Gus on his quests, partly to watch over him, and partly because she loves adventure. No matter what happens, Iris is always game! She helps materialize even the craziest of Gus’s plans, bringing her pragmatism and keen insight to the table. And she’d follow him to the ends of the Earth if necessary, just to bring those plans to fruition! Gus couldn’t wish for a better partner than Iris!

Tyler

Tyler is Gus’s best friend, and likes going on adventures with Gus, as long as it’s not too far, too dark or (more importantly) too dangerous! Let’s face it: he’s basically a big scaredy-cat!

Tyler loves new technologies, always tinkering away in his workshop, in the middle of the ElectroStables. He stays busy designing and building telescopic spears, retractable shields, etc. But his greatest achievements include Gus’s magi-shield and laser sword and, of course, Gus and Iris’s electric ponies! He’s also made a small electric donkey for himself, a tribute to the real-life one he owned as a very young child. Besides being an awesome inventor, Tyler is the life and soul of the party – funny and easy to please. He likes playing the cheerleader, waving banners to spur on his friends and keep their spirits up!

Pippy

Pippy is Gus’s hyper little canine. Gus behaves like a big brother to Pippy: he comforts him, cares for him, and is extremely protective towards him. Inseparable (in daily life and in the course of their epic quests), Gus and Pippy make an awesome, affectionate, funny and endearing pair.
