Lucky Number, the international sales company known for its “boutique” approach and commitment to auteur cinema, is partnering with Moon Keys International Content (MKIC), a specialist in financing animation projects. This partnership aims to strengthen financial support for original animated feature films, whether they are mainstream productions or more niche works.
By joining forces, Lucky Number and Moon-Keys International Content aim to boost the creation and distribution of animated films, offering tailored support to producers and creators. This support will translate into an investment in a minimum of two to three animated films per year.
This collaboration will allow Lucky Number, founded by Ola Byszuk, Olivier Barbier, and Lenny Porte, to diversify its catalog and integrate quality animation projects into its editorial line. For its part, Moon Keys, created in 2023 by Boris Hertzog (formerly of Mikros Animation, Technicolor Animation Productions, and OuiDO Productions) and supported by Lift Value, Movie One, and CYD Partners, reaffirms its commitment to supporting original and diverse creation in the field of animation.
